The final competition of the 18^th World Chinese competition in the Almaty area was successfully held. The competition was hosted by the Chinese Consulate General in Almaty and organized by the Confucius Institute at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on Apr. 20, 2019.

Miao Hongbo, Deputy Consul-General of Chinese Consulate General in Almaty, Wang Qingping, the cultural consul, and Dyussebayev Dauren, director of the "The Belt and Road" Research Center of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, and 400 teachers and students of the Confucius Institutes and universities in Almaty attended the competition. ALYZHAN, a student from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University won the popularity award.
