From Sep. 18 to 22, President Yan Chunhua, Vice President of China Association of Higher Education (CAHE), and member of Chinese Academy of Science, visited the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHE) in Jordan, the University of Jordan (UJ), the European University Association (EUA), the Council of French-speaking Universities of Belgium (Universities Council), and the University of Namur, with the delegation led by President of CAHE Du Yubo.

During the visit, President Yan Chunhua introduced the educational exchanges of LZU with universities in the Arab region and expressed expectations for future cooperation to MOHE, discussed inter-university cooperation and exchanges with leaders of universities and educational institutions of UJ, EUA, the Universities Council, and the University of Namur, attended the inaugural meeting of China-Arab Consortium of Universities Exchange Mechanism and the China-Arab Higher Education Forum, and gave an introduction to the charter and organizations of the China-Arab Consortium of Universities Exchange Mechanism at the meeting. 

The delegation also paid a visit to the Mission of the People’s Republic of China to the European Union and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Belgium.
