The Delegation Visits Universities in Hong Kong and Macao

From September 5th to 12th, Prof. Lin Haibo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Lanzhou University (LZU), visited Hong Kong Baptist University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, City University of Hong Kong, the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong S. A. R., University of Macau, Macau University of Science and Technology, the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao S. A. R., accompanied by relevant personnel from the Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs, the Office for Talents, the School of Public Health, the School of Stomatology, the School of Nursing.






During the visit, the delegation conducted in-depth exchanges with universities in Hong Kong and Macao on expanding cooperation in fields as scientific research, teacher exchange, joint graduate cultivation, high-level talents recruitment, and reached consensus on signing or renewing cooperation agreements. Prof. Lin Haibo introduced achievements made in talents cultivation, scientific research, the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and future development plans of LZU, and invited teachers and students from universities in Hong Kong and Macao to visit LZU.






During the visit to Hong Kong, the delegation held a Information Session for Global Professionals to introduce the recruitment policy for high-level talents who are interested in applying for teaching positions in LZU. The delegation also paid a visit to alumni associations and some alumni enterprises in Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
